    Please join us on December 2, 2023 for our 2nd Annual Father Daughter Dance for a night of dancing, door prizes, pictures, and light refreshments. The Dance will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at McKinney Boyd High School. Boyd High School is located at 600 Lake Forest (cafeteria). This dance is for young ladies in K - 5th grade. You do not have to be a McKinney ISD student to attend the dance. Dance Tickets $23.00 per person Photos Pictures provided by 5804 Photography. Great photo opportunity for the Holidays. Forms available online. You may follow the link and order packages online until December 1, 2023 or Pay at the Event with credit, check or exact cash. Picture Form – Please bring form and online payment receipt /or payment with you to the dance. Corsages and Boutonnieres (Edwards Floral Design) Corsages and Boutonnieres are available to purchase online and may be picked up when you arrive at the dance. The deadline to order flowers is November 24, 2023. Boutonniere & Corsage $39.95 Single Boutonniere $14.95 Single Corsage $28.95 American Girl Doll Raffle - McKinney Education Foundation Finally, you will have the opportunity to enter a chance to win an American Girl Doll for your princess. All proceeds go to the McKinney Education Foundation. Raffle tickets will be sold at the dance. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20.00. The drawing will take place at 8:30 PM.   • Summer Enrichment Camps

    McKinney ISD is excited to host the MISD Summer Enrichment Camps again this year. These camps are conducted by MISD teachers for children completing kindergarten through 5th grade. A variety of camps will be offered for 5 weeks, June 3, 2024 – July 12, 2024. You do not have to be a resident of McKinney or a student in McKinney ISD to attend camps. Summer camps are $109.00 per camp/per student. Refunds will be granted when requested by noon, five working days prior to the start of camp. Cancellation dates can be found below. A $25.00 Cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. Campers must be fully potty trained and able to acclimate within a 1:20 instructor to child ratio. Camp registration is for the grade level your child just completed, (i.e. If your child will complete kindergarten in May of 2024, you will register them for kindergarten camps.) Summer camps will alternate between Minshew and Bennett Elementary from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. each day. Camp location and dates below. Minshew Elementary located at 300 Joplin Dr., McKinney, Texas 75071 Bennett Elementary located at 7760 Coronado Dr., McKinney, Texas 75070 Camp Week Camp Location Cancellation Date June 3-10 Minshew Elementary cancel by noon on May 27 June 10-14 Minshew Elementary cancel by noon on June 3 June 17-21 Bennett Elementary cancel by noon on June 10 June 24-28 Bennett Elementary cancel by noon on June 17 July 8-12 Bennett Elementary cancel by noon on July 1 Campers will be dropped off and picked up in the carpool lane each day. Drop off and pickup instructions/maps will be emailed one week prior to the camp start date. Please provide your camper with a sack lunch/drink and a snack each day, M-Th. We will provide pizza each Friday (please provide your camper with a drink and a snack on this day). If your child does not want pizza, please provide an alternate lunch. There are a few cooking camps each week where campers get to make and eat their projects. Please be advised that the ingredients used during this camp may contain the following: milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, and gluten.
